FAQ
What are the dimensions of your horse trailer mobile bar?
"Rosalita" is approximately 14 feet long, 7 feet wide, 9 feet tall - with the serving window on the driver’s side of the trailer.
What are the on-site requirements for the mobile bar?
First, we'll need a flat surface that is easily accessible. We'll need plenty of room for both our pick-up truck and trailer to pull through and/or turn around. To assist you, we typically conduct a site visit ahead of your event to ensure we can safety park on premise. And lastly, to leverage our two-tap draft system, on-site electricity is needed (up to 100ft, via extension cord).
When is payment due?
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at time of booking, with your remaining balance due seven (7) days prior to event. Please note, all contracts include 20% staff gratuity.
What is your cancellation policy?
Since our seasons book in advance, it’s hard to fill late cancellations ... but we get that things happen. While your deposit is non-refundable, we will waive the remaining balance of your contract if your booking is cancelled within 60 days from your event date. We are also more than happy to avoid cancellation, and instead, work with you to reschedule your event!
What if bad weather is expected on the day of my event?
No worries. In the event of rain or bad weather, your booking can be rescheduled 72 hours before your event, for a new date that is mutually agreed upon.
How do you ensure safety?
We strictly follow all New Jersey and New York Liquor laws and will not serve anyone underage. Our main priority is for you and your guests to have the best time at your event, while protecting the safety and well-being of everyone in attendance.
How far do you travel?
We love a good party so… we're open to traveling (within reason)! We are based in Bergen County, New Jersey and serve nearby Rockland County, New York. For any events located over 25 miles, we'll kindly request a travel fee.
What do we (the host) have to do?
As a friendly reminder, we are a "dry bar." We provide ice, specified mixers, sustainable cups, cocktail napkins and more. As the host, you are responsible for purchasing the types and quantity of alcohol recommended in your final bar menu proposal. Then, show up and have fun!
What is your liquor policy?
Local liquor laws prohibit us from purchasing or selling alcohol. You purchase the alcohol separately and we serve it. This allows you to serve the menu at your comfort level of cost. We will work with you to design a custom bar menu, along with quantity guidance for purchasing.
Can we decorate Rosalita to match the décor at our event?
Of course! We are happy to assist with styling the trailer and recommend that décor ideas avoid fire, nails, glue, or other concepts that may damage the trailer.
